  4. We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law. Visit our Financials page to learn more.

  5. What is your organization's privacy policy?

Our organization takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organizations, public, private, or nonprofit. For more detailed information visit our Privacy Policy page.

  6. Why did your name change? Are you still the Victoria Senior Center?

Meals on Wheels South Texas began as the Victoria Senior Citizens Center. In 2018, we branded under the Meals on Wheels family as MOW Victoria, and we rebranded again in 2022 as Meals on Wheels South Texas.
We joined the Meals on Wheels family because their philosophies and practices reflected who we wanted to be as an organization. The COVID-19 pandemic then saw us rapidly grow from only serving within Victoria city limits, to serving the county, to serving across county lines. By 2022, we had identified gaps in existing services across our region, and we realized we could help.
We see ourselves as a part of the communities we serve; the majority of the time, we have local partners and local volunteers serving their senior neighbors. To reflect that and our commitment to be there for all seniors we have the capacity to reach, we renamed to Meals on Wheels South Texas.

  7. We're sorry that we are not yet serving your zipcode. We encourage you to use Meals on Wheels America's lookup tool. Visit MealsOnWheelsAmerica.org to access it.
